Early Pregnancy and Recurrent Miscarriage
Dr. Melanie Allan has extensive experience in the management of early pregnancy concerns, including pregnancy complications and recurrent miscarriage. She trained at leading centres, including King’s Early Pregnancy Unit in London and the Early Pregnancy and Maternal Fetal Medicine Units at the Mater Hospital, Brisbane.
Dr Allan completed Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) Advanced Training Modules in Acute Gynaecology and Early Pregnancy and was instrumental in establishing a GP led Early Pregnancy Unit at Northern Beaches Hospital, Sydney.
Menopause
Dr. Melanie Allan has specialised expertise in menopause, perimenopause, and premature ovarian insufficiency (POI).
She gained extensive experience in managing complex menopausal conditions during her training at King’s College Hospital and Guy’s and St Thomas’ Menopause Clinics in London.
As a member of the International Menopause Society, Dr Allan stays at the forefront of the latest research and treatment advancements, ensuring her patients receive evidence-based, individualised care for symptom management, hormone therapy, and long-term health during menopause.

Dr. Melanie Allan is highly skilled in diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy, a minimally invasive technique used to investigate and treat conditions such as polyps, fibroids, and abnormal uterine bleeding.
She holds a Bachelor in Endoscopy from GESEA, demonstrating her advanced expertise in hysteroscopic procedures.
